If you have watched the 2006 movie The Devil Wears Prada, which starred Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Meryl Streep, you may remember the scene where Andrea (Hathaway) complains to Nigel (Stanley Tucci) about Miranda’s (Steep) lack of gratitude. What is important here is what Nigel told Andrea. It will explain the need for such recall for this blog post.
Nigel in a nutshell said that a fashion magazine for some people is their “beacon of hope” and not merely pages filled with pictures. Depending on how one sees it, the fashion industry is a positive contribution to the art world. The process involved in producing fashion spreads is painstakingly challenging. From the concept, budget, location to the clothes, models, photographers and much, much more.
The Fashion Institute of the Philippines‘ 2013 graduates recently displayed a photo exhibit at Glorietta mall in Makati City. If you happen to be around, do take a look at the amazing photos. Here are some samples:

The #FIPPHOTOEXHIBIT is displayed at the Ground Floor of Glorietta 4, near Island Photo and The Black Shop.
