There has always been undying love for French sweets, especially macarons. It may be the sugar but it may also be the colorful exterior of these meringue-based afters, which usually gives a hint on their flavor.
Aside from Manila, Cebu is one of the cities in the Philippines which can cater to your French desserts needs. The name of the establishment is Vanille Café & Patisserie.
Vanille Cafe & Patisserie is headed by a top Le Cordon Bleu Paris graduate, Chef Valerie Lua. She is passionate about creating pastries that “are made with 100% natural ingredients and ‘love’“.
There are two branches in Cebu. One is at the second floor of Ayala Center Cebu (between Shakeys and Yellow Cab; facing The Terraces) and the other is at the second floor of the SM City Cebu North Wing (beside Forever 21, across from Watson’s).
